The Hypocrisy of Double-standards as a Tool for Slave-juggling

Imagine the response, if I were to tell 100 average U.S. citizens: “I would hope that a wise European man, with the richness of his experiences, would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a brown female who hasn’t lived that life.”

Something like 100 out of 100 would have all kinds of useful and reasonable analysis of why that’s a crazy thing to say. They would even notice the more subtle rudeness of referring to the first person by nationality—European—while referring to the second by color—brown; and they would notice the humanizing term “man” paralleled to a term that, in the context, is more animalizing—”female.” They would demand: “Why not ‘brown woman’ or ‘African woman’?” They would have all kinds of useful, obvious ways to improve the statement and make it less ridiculous—to say nothing of the overall message: A man necessarily knows more than a woman? A white necessarily knows more than a black/brown? “Racism! Sexism! RAARR! What kind of a loser talks like this!?” You know—common sense.

Before I deliver a few hate-facts, consider the hypothetical statement one more time:

“I would hope that a wise European man, with the richness of his experiences, would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a brown female who hasn’t lived that life.”

Notice how the evil just jumps right out. How dare an imaginary person hypothetically say such a terrible thing!?

And now, consider the original, actual quote:

“I would hope that a wise Latina woman, with the richness of her experiences, would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

This was part of a routine speech, delivered many times for more than a decade, by a racist, sexist loser named Sonia Sotomayor. Sotomayor said that nonsense while her job was to decide cases with real people, as a judge in the United States. Sotomayor said that nonsense a relatively short time before the crazy old, racist, sexist loser received a nomination to the United States Supreme Court. Sonia Sotomayor—a crazy, old, racist, sexist, loser—is now a Supreme Court justice.

“I would hope that a wise Latina woman, with the richness of her experiences, would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

Now imagine those 100 average U.S. citizens hearing all this: plenty would start to bend over backwards mentally—suddenly applying all kinds of exceptions to their previous, obvious analysis of sexism, racism etc. Because they are weak, hypocritical slaves. And double-standards are a great tool for slave-juggling by slave-owners—because hypocrisy is a self-slavery that keeps a person stupid and distracted—preventing them from any chance of overcoming any social slavery that they face.

Here’s a story about the crazy, old, racist sexist loser—Sonia Sotomayor:
