Laws as faux-pause

“Laws are illegal!,” declared the cractivists—crime activists—demanding the arrest of law enforcement officers who enforced the law.

The officers were indeed arrested—by officers who, themselves, were then arrested for enforcing that law; because it was illegal to enforce laws—even to enforce the laws that outlawed the enforcement of law.

Later, the legal principle was clarified thus: nothing is anything, and everything is the same as everything else; therefore everyone should be able to do whatever they want…except make rules…because laws are illegal.

After that, there was peace forever: everyone got along; everyone was identical; and everyone was safe, happy, and fulfilled—because the only real problems there ever had been were the creation of rules, and the enforcement of laws. Amen.
